WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

We excel in crafting personalized, handcrafted jewellery tailored to match the distinct preferences and requirements of each client. Each design tells an individual story, is exclusive and never duplicated for anyone else.

We offer:

- Bespoke bridal jewellery, including gentlemen's wedding rings, ladies' fitted wedding bands, eternity rings, and bridal sets

- Custom-made jewellery, i.e. anything non-bridal, including kid's jewellery, cufflinks, brooches, body jewellery such as anklets, nose rings and tiaras to name a few

- Heirloom revival and jewellery remodelling - we repurpose the metal and/or stones from cherished and sentimental jewellery, transforming them into fresh, reimagined pieces for renewed enjoyment

- Tailored alterations - we can amend any existing designs in our collections to better suit your style and preferences

For our after-sale services please refer to Our Services section under Craftsmanship.

WHAT'S THE PROCESS?

Following the email/phone introductory conversation and the virtual/in-person consultation, Sherin starts designing your piece. She will then personally or virtually show you a few design options and, if requested, a selection of ethically-sourced gemstones for you to choose from.

Once the design and stone choice are finalised, you will be asked to pay a 50% deposit to initiate the manufacturing process, with the remaining balance due upon completion. Our skilled master goldsmiths will then start working on your exquisite new design and bring it to life, guaranteeing an exceptional finished product.

For further details about the bespoke process, you can find more information on our Bespoke page.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Upon finalizing a design and settlement of 50% of the final cost, the majority of pieces require 6-12 weeks for completion.

Should you have a shorter timeframe, we'll strive to accommodate your deadline. However, in instances where this isn't feasible, we have alternative suggestions such as our range of jewellery as well as sketch gifting, gem gifting, e-gift card.

HOW CAN I SHARE MY IDEAS?

You can get in touch with us via email, WhatsApp, social media, or phone and we will arrange an introductory call for you to brief us on your needs and wants. You can also fill in the form provided on our Bespoke page or consult our Contact page.

If necessary, we will arrange either an additional in-person or virtual meeting with our founder and designer Sherin. She will put together a mood board, draw some initial sketches, and answer any questions you might have.

Geography is definitely not a barrier for us and we will arrange video consultations according to your time zone.

HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR A CONSULTATION?

We excel at conveying stories through jewellery by actively listening. Our fundamental advice is simple: be yourself.

Feel free to bring any sources of inspiration you have for your bespoke jewellery. Some ideas include books, mood boards, pictures, favourite jewellery pieces, but we strongly believe that the best source of inspiration is your story.

Don't stress if you don't have anything specific to bring - often, clients seek bespoke options because they're envisioning something that doesn't yet exist. Sherin is skilled at asking the right questions to uncover what you're seeking. You might be surprised at how much insight you have about the details of a design once it's broken down into smaller components.

If you are creating the bespoke piece for someone else, a picture of the recipient can help Sherin to better adapt the style of the piece to them. If you want to have a ring made, try to find a picture that shows their hands as this can help guessing the ring size in case you didn't want to get caught.

Should you desire to repurpose an old piece of jewellery, bring it along and tell us about it as we love hearing the backstory and understanding its significance to you. Don't forget that we are here to help!

HOW MUCH IS A CONSULTATION?

The consultations are free of charge.

HOW MUCH IS A BESPOKE JEWEL?

The cost of a custom-made design fluctuates based on the type of service, selected metal, incorporation of gemstones, and the intricacy of the design.

Informing us of your preferred budget enables us to recommend appropriate metals, gemstones, and design elements to achieve your desired aesthetic within a comfortable price range for you.

You will only be required to settle a 50% non-refundable first deposit payment upon confirming your preferred design, and the remaining balance will be paid upon completion of the jewel.

CAN I GET A REFUND ON THE BESPOKE?

Due to the personalized nature of bespoke jewellery created specifically to your preferences and requirements, refunds or exchanges are not possible. However, our priority is your satisfaction and we work closely with you throughout the design process to ensure that the final piece aligns with your vision. If there are any concerns or issues upon receiving your bespoke order, please contact us directly, and we'll do our utmost to address them to your satisfaction.

WHAT IF THE RECIPIENT DOES NOT LIKE IT?

We closely collaborate with you throughout the bespoke process to ensure the design meets your exact specifications and exceeds your expectations. Our designs are consistently individual, distinctive, and impeccably crafted.

This is why we offer multiple iterations of the jewel at the design stage to make sure that it goes into production only when you are completely satisfied about it.

Given the highly personalised service, we are not able to offer refunds or exchanges on bespoke orders. However, if the recipient wants to make amendments to the final jewel, remodelling and upgrades could be the options to consider. Please refer to our Bespoke Services page for additional information.

If instead you prefer a more cautious approach we advise you to opt for our range of jewellery, GEM GIFTING, SKETCH GIFTING, E-GIFT CARD, or a combination of these.

If you wish, we are happy to organise a virtual or in-person consultation with you and the recipient after gifting to finalise the design and share this unique experience together.

IS MY BESPOKE COVERED BY YOUR GUARANTEE?

Yes, we offer lifetime guarantee on our bespoke pieces (as opposed to 12 months guarantee for our jewellery), provided that the damage did not result from:

• Accidents, including loss, theft or fire or other causes beyond our control, mishandling, negligence or abusive use (knocks, dents, crushing, etc.).

• Unauthorized alteration, tampering, dismantling, manipulation, or services and repair by third parties or anyone else than an authorised Hafeez dealer or e-boutique.

• Normal wear (scratches, loose stones, bending, etc.), routine maintenance and cleaning, and ageing of the metal and/or stones.

• Contact of delicate stones with water, cosmetics, perfume, chemicals, or any other corrosive products.

Please refer to Our Services and Guarantee & Repairs sections for additional information on our after-sale services.

WILL YOU HAVE TO BORROW THE ENGAGEMENT RING TO MAKE A FITTED WEDDING BAND?

Ideally, we prefer to borrow your engagement ring for the whole manufacturing process to ensure a flawless fit with your wedding or eternity ring. If that's not possible, we'll find alternative options such as 3D scanning or using an impression kit.

While your engagement ring is with us, we will offer to inspect, clean, and polish it, rejuvenating it free of charge to look like new. This ensures seamless harmony between your engagement and wedding rings on your special day.

We will then ship your engagement ring and fitted wedding ring together, free of charge.

HOW DO I GET THE RING SIZE RIGHT?

Please refer to our Size Guide page for suggestions, and please be kindly reminded that we are able to offer a complimentary first resizing.

I WANT TO REMODEL AN OLD PIECE, WHAT'S THE PROCESS?

The process is fairly similar to our Bepoke Design process, except for the assessment phase so please refer to the Jewellery Remodelling section under the Bespoke Services.

When sending us the collection pack back, please Include the waiver form filled and signed, as well as pictures of:

  • your jewels
  • any gemstone grading reports
  • receipts/invoices
  • any documents containing information about the piece(s) such as weight and fineness of the metal, and specifications of the stones.

These are all information that we should be made aware before dismantling your jewel(s) and working on a new one. If you don't have any available, fill in the waiver form to the best of your best knowledge.

CAN YOU RECYCLE MY METAL AND MY STONES?

Yes, we are happy to reuse your jewel's materials, as long as it's 18k gold or above, or platinum. However, please be aware that most of the times additional metal is required for a new piece and it will add up to the manufacturing cost.

We won't be buying your scrap metal or gemstones, nor grading or test your gemstones, but if you wish to do so, we'll be asking you beforehand and it could incur additional costs as it's a service beyond our scope.

Additionally, we do not work with diamond simulants (Moissanite, Glass, Cubic Zirconia, White Sapphire) and we will get in touch with you if we find out that the gemstone you gave us is a simulant of another, that is, a similar-looking stone with a different chemical composition.
