Introduction
These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all contracts entered into by Hafeez Jewellery Ltd (“Hafeez”, “we” or “us”) whose registered office is at 16 Woodberry Down, London N4 2GB. By placing your order with us you are accepting these Terms and Conditions. Where you do not accept these Terms and Conditions in full, you do not have permission to access the contents of this website and should cease using it immediately. Any information not included on this page but written on other sections of the website are still valid and would still count as terms of sale.
Disclaimer
Hafeez works to keep the site up to date but cannot guarantee that this site and its contents are completely free of technical errors, incorrect prices or information. By using this site, you acknowledge that you assume full responsibility for all costs associated with all necessary servicing or repairs of any equipment you use in connection with this site.
While Hafeez Jewellery Ltd makes every effort to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the website content, we do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the website. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer protection laws.
In particular, you retain the right to a full refund, repair, or replacement for goods that are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose. If you are not satisfied with the site, then please email us with your comments. However, your only legal recourse is to stop using the site.
Legal Governance
Your use of this site and any contract between you and Hafeez for the sale of products shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales. If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable for these terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining provisions.
Customer Responsibility
Hafeez cannot guarantee that the sale and delivery of its goods to your particular country or location is permissible, so please be aware of your own geographic import restrictions. This site and its contents will not constitute the basis for any contractual commitment between Hafeez and any prospective customer in any jurisdiction in which the solicitation of interest or the offering of or sale of products by Hafeez would contravene any applicable local, regional or national legislation. No prospective customer should seek to make any order through the site from jurisdictions in which it would be illegal for Hafeez to sell products.
Contract for Sale
The advertising of products on this site is an 'invitation to treat'. This means your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and Hafeez. Prices and stock availability won't be contractually confirmed until you receive the despatch email after payment has been confirmed and stock levels have been checked. It is at this time that the contract is formed. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by Hafeez on the site, which we may make from time to time. You should check this page from time to time to review these terms to ensure you are happy with any changes.
Receipt of Order
Hafeez must receive payment in full for your order before it can be accepted. Once your payment has been authorised and stock is checked, Hafeez will send you an email receipt confirming your order. Please keep this receipt for your records. We reserve the right to refuse to supply to any customer for whatever reason.
Bespoke pieces require an initial 50% deposit once the design is agreed on and an invoice will be provided upon reception of payment. The remaining balance will have to be settled upon completion of the creation and before shipping, a second and final invoice will be provided upon reception of payment.
Promotions and Offers
10% Newsletter Sign Up
All new newsletter subscribers and first-time shoppers will be supplied with a 10% discount code. This is to be used online only and applied in the promotional code area when checking out. Valid for one use only.
Referral Program
All first-time buyers who make a purchase from Hafeez are eligible to join our referral program. Upon making a purchase, the referrer will receive a unique referral code. This code can be found in the documents enclosed in each Hafeez parcel. The referrer can share this unique referral code with friends, family, or acquaintances (referee) who have not previously made a purchase from Hafeez. When a referee places an order, they have the option to include the referral code in the order notes during checkout. If both the referrer and the referee do not return their purchased goods within 14 days from the date of delivery, the referrer will receive a referral gift as a token of our appreciation. The referral gift will be delivered to the referrer at least 14 days after the referee's order is successfully delivered and not returned within the specified return period. If either the referrer or the referee returns the purchased goods within 14 days of delivery, the referrer will not be eligible to receive the referral gift for that specific referral. Referrers can only participate in the referral program once.
We reserve the right to remove or modify any promotion or offer at our sole discretion, without prior notice for various reasons, including but not limited to technical errors, misuse, abuse, violation of terms and conditions, or any other circumstances that may compromise the integrity of the promotion. We make no guarantees that a specific promotion or offer will be available at any given time or for any particular customer. Promotions are subject to change and may be limited in availability.
Promotions and referral programs are subject to the following terms:
• Offers are limited to one use per customer unless stated otherwise.
• If an order is returned within the statutory 14-day cooling-off period, any related promotional rewards (such as referral gifts) will be voided.
• Hafeez Jewellery Ltd reserves the right to cancel or amend promotions in the event of technical errors, misuse, or any situation that compromises the integrity of the promotion.
• All promotional terms are provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights.
Pricing, Payments, and Delivery
The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out in our website.
Our prices are in GBP (£) Pound Sterling, with a converter available on each Hafeez website page. Please be kindly aware that we do not take responsibility for the accuracy of the converter and that Hafeez does not charge any additional fees other than the total amount owed for the order.
Other fees would have been applied by your bank and are not under the control of Hafeez. As we're based in the UK, banks in other countries may consider us a 'foreign company' and charge additional international fees on their own. We are not able to provide a refund for any foreign transaction fees, currency fluctuations, or currency exchange.
We offer free worldwide delivery, please see our Shipping & Returns page for information on timings and options. We will use our reasonable endeavours to deliver the goods or services within the times indicated. However, where delivery times and dates are given, they are for general guidance only and we will not be held liable for late delivery of goods caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Duties and Taxes
UK orders are inclusive of 20% VAT.
UK VAT is not charged on international orders. Local taxes, customs duties, and import fees may apply, depending on the location and the destination of the shipment. These charges are determined by local customs authorities and are not under the control of Hafeez.
It is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of and comply with all relevant local tax and duty regulations. Hafeez will not be held liable for any such charges incurred during the importation process. If your order incurs any local taxes or duties, you will be contacted by your local customs authorities or the shipping carrier to arrange payment. Failure to settle these charges may result in delays or non-delivery of your order.
Unfortunately, Hafeez cannot provide estimates of the exact local taxes and duties that may apply to your order, as they vary greatly by location and product type. We recommend contacting your local customs office or tax authority for more information.
For international orders, any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other fees are the responsibility of the customer. If a parcel is returned to us because duties are not paid or delivery is refused, we will make reasonable efforts to refund the cost of the goods, less any shipping, customs, and handling fees incurred. Hafeez Jewellery Ltd is not responsible for any losses due to currency fluctuations, import regulations, or refusal by customs authorities. We recommend customers research local import regulations before placing an order
Please be kindly aware that if you order from outside the UK and the package is refused, or you refuse to pay for duties and taxes, your order will be shipped back to us and we reserve the right to refund you 50% of the total value of your order.
Cancellations
If you need to make any changes to your order, including adjusting and cancelling of the order, or changing the shipping address, please reach out within 24 hours of placing the order. Kindly note that as our team works hard to get your order dispatched as quickly as possible, we may not be able to cancel or update your order upon request. Our personal advisors will be delighted to assist for any update of your order by phone, email, or livechat.
E-gift cards, sketches, and gemstone orders cannot be cancelled nor refunded after purchase.
For engraved and bespoke pieces, once the order is placed, we are not able to cancel or update the order.
Cooling Off Period
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, customers in the UK have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receipt and return goods for a full refund. This cooling-off period does not apply to bespoke, personalised, engraved, resized or altered jewellery, sketches, gemstones, or gift cards. These items are excluded from the statutory cancellation rights because they are made to individual specifications or are perishable.
Returns Policy
Hafeez offers complimentary shipping for any ready-to-wear item that you'd like to return. Simply get in touch with our Customer Service who will guide you through the process. Refunds will be issued to the original form of tender and processed within 14 working days of return.
Merchandise will be available for refund or exchange depending on the country (excluding any shipping charges) providing it is returned in the same saleable condition as when purchased, within 14 days of the date of purchase and if accompanied by the original sales receipt and documents.
Kindly note that Hafeez does not accept exchanges or refunds on any gift cards, sketches, gemstone orders and bespoke, engraved, altered, and customised pieces.
Returning a Jewel
We are offering a returns period of 14 days to return your ready-to-wear item from the date of purchase.
If you want to return your items to us, please get in touch with our Customer Service team to proceed with a refund or exchange.
Please be kindly aware that currently we are only able to offer exchanges for the UK. Exchanges can be made for another jewel of the same value or more, provided you pay the cost difference and the additional delivery which may incur as a result.
To qualify for an exchange or refund, the following conditions need to be met:
- It must be returned in a new and unworn state, in perfect condition, with all protective materials in place and tags and stickers attached to them (if applicable), as well as with the original packaging, including all accessories and documents, and accompanied by the appropriate sales slip.
- The creation does not have any personal engravings and has not been altered from its original condition (resized, modified).
- It is not a bespoke, custom, remodelled, or special order.
Personalised (resized or engraved), custom-made, or damaged jewels are not eligible for exchange or refund.
We strongly recommend that you send your order back to us by insured recorded delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.
Please allow up to 14 working days, from the day your return has been received back with us, for returns to be processed. You will first receive a return confirmation notification, then, the jewellery will be submitted to a quality control. Once the control passed, you should receive your refund within 14 working days. Should you wish to return for a refund, Hafeez will refund the GBP value of the item. Hafeez is not liable for currency fluctuations.
If you are shopping outside the UK, we would like to inform you that customs duties, taxes, VAT, clearance fees, and any other postal charges you incurred upon delivery will not be refunded. You will be responsible for requesting the refund to your local customs authority before your parcel passes back through your country's customs.
Engraved Jewels
We currently only offer engraving on our rings, excluding any thin rings due to their small width.
Please be kindly aware that due to the width of our rings, the engraving might be small, so in order for it to be readable, we advise you to prefer initials or numbers over sentences. Depending on the space available, it might not be possible to engrave more than a certain number of characters.
We are able to offer engravings in different alphabets and symbols, so let us know if you have a special request. Exclusions apply for offensive words.
If you want us to engrave your ring(s), do please reach out to us with your request and we will advise accordingly.
If you are unsure about the ring size you are ordering, you can request the engraving at a later date. Once you have received your ring(s) and are happy about the fit, we’ll arrange a return for your item to be returned back to us for your engraving to be added. Please be aware that if you are shopping outside of the UK, you will be responsible for the transportation, insurance, and any other costs related to the shipping.
Please allow us up to 10 days for the request to be processed, so keep in mind that your delivery might be delayed and that the express delivery might not be possible.
Engraved pieces are personalised therefore they are not eligible for refund or exchange.
Engraved or personalised items are generally excluded from returns or exchanges. However, if an engraved or personalised item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you retain your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. In such cases, please contact Customer Service to arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.
Defective and Damaged Jewels
If you should receive an item that is defective, damaged or not what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days. The Customer Service will help you resolve any issues as quickly as possible. If the product is returned during the Guarantee period, we will repair any manufacturing issue or replace any defective parts free of charge within a reasonable time after the product is returned, subject to the right to charge for shipping costs. Upon expiration of the Guarantee period, any repairs will be subject to a service charge.
For any other issues occurring after delivery, please refer to our Guarantee Policy, which covers all manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months worldwide (for life for bridal and bespoke pieces) provided that the damage did not result from any of the following:
• Accidents, including loss, theft or fire or other causes beyond our control, mishandling, negligence or abusive use (knocks, dents, crushing, etc.).
• Unauthorized alteration, tampering, dismantling, manipulation, or services and repair by third parties or anyone else than an authorised Hafeez dealer or e-boutique.
• Normal wear (scratches, loose stones, bending, etc.), routine maintenance and cleaning, and ageing of the metal and/or stones.
• Contact of delicate stones with water, cosmetics, perfume, chemicals, or any other corrosive products.

Representatives are available 10.00am to 6.00pm (GMT) Monday to Friday and 10.00am to 4.00pm on Saturday. We accept American Express, Electron, Maestro/Switch, MasterCard, Solo & Visa, PayPal, and bank transfers for purchases via phone or WhatsApp. To securely receive your payments over the Internet we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which is the standard internet practice and means your details are protected. Please don't try to send orders via email, as we cannot guarantee any secure transmission of details. If you're still worried about security over the Internet, then please contact us by phone.
Copyright and Other Rights
All materials including images, illustrations, designs, layout, photographs, written and other text or script that are part of this site and given to clients are protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress and/or other intellectual property rights owned, controlled or licensed to Hafeez. The site, merchandise, and artworks as a whole are protected by copyright and trade dress, all worldwide rights, titles and interests in and to which are owned by Hafeez. The contents of the site and the site as a whole are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may download or copy the contents and other downloadable materials displayed on the site for the sole purpose of placing an order with Hafeez or using the site as a shopping resource. No right, title or interest in any downloaded materials or software is transferred to you as a result of any such downloading or copying. You may not reproduce (except as noted above), publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell or participate in any sale of, or exploit in any way, in whole or in part, any of the material and virtual contents, the site, or any related software.
Photography
Some items may appear slightly larger or smaller than actual size due to screen defaults and photography techniques. Other items may be represented at a larger than actual size in order to clearly show details, or smaller than actual size in order to show the entire item.
Gift Cards
The Hafeez e-gift cards cannot be cancelled or refunded after purchase.
- You cannot purchase a Hafeez e-gift card with another e-gift card.
- This is not a charge, credit, debit or cheque guarantee card.
- If the amount of your e-gift card does not cover the total order amount, you will need to pay the remainder of the purchase with a valid credit card or alternative payment option.
- If the amount on your gift card is for more than the total order amount, the balance will be stored within your account for your next purchase using the same gift card code.
- Gift cards are non-refundable, non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash.
- Hafeez shall not be liable for deleted e-gift cards or for mistakes made when typing the recipient's email.
- Where applicable, we do not charge sales tax when you buy an online e-gift card because it is charged when the gift card is used.
- Gift cards can be used in full or part payment.
- Gift cards are only redeemable online and in the chosen site’s currency and cannot be used on any other sites.
- Currently, we are not able to keep track of the gift card balance, so please keep a note after making a purchase.
- Gift cards do not expire.
- No change will be given or refunded, outstanding balance will remain on gift card.
- The minimum amount required to activate the gift card is £500.
Hafeez reserves the right to amend the terms applying to gift cards at any time. Any such change and action to be taken as a result will be given in advance and placed online and in stores.
