The Nath hoop earrings pay tribute to the tradition of wearing nose jewels, a practice originated more than 4000 years ago in the Middle East, migrating to India in the 1500s and reaching Western civilization by the 20th century.

In many cultures, particularly in South Asia, the nose ring is believed to protect the wearer from malevolent forces entering through orifices. Historically, the Nath has also been a symbol of marital status and femininity, representing a woman's strength and cultural identity.

This design captures the essence of protection and cultural significance, allowing the wearer to adorn themselves with this symbol outside of wedding celebrations.
